Scholarships & Discounted Rates

Scholarship opportunities to visit the Museum of Us are available through the generous support of our community, partnerships, and philanthropic grants.

  • Admissions scholarships may be available for groups interested in a self-guided group visit or exhibit tour. Applications for admissions scholarships are included in booking process on Explorable Places.
  • Nonprofit rates and scholarship opportunities may be available for workshops, and must be requested by email during the reservation process.
  • Bus scholarships may be available for all K-12 school groups. All groups must submit a Bus Scholarship Application, which is separate from the Explorable Places booking process.

The Museum of Us proudly partners with School in the Park, a program that provides enriching, authentic learning experiences for students through the resources from arts and culture institutions in Balboa Park. Learn more about School in the Park.

The Museum of Us recognizes that it sits on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Kumeyaay Nation. The Museum extends its respect and gratitude to the Kumeyaay peoples who have lived here for millennia.

The Museum is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
